Is this project part of a staged construction?
If you have agreed staged construction with your authority, select Yes to record details of this stage of the construction. You must have approval before applying for a staged building consent.
Stages could be a stage for each separate building, as part of a project for constructing a group of buildings, or staging the construction or alteration of a single building.
Staged projects result in a series of building consents that are cumulative. The plans and specifications at each stage are required to include the building work approved in earlier stages.

What stage of your project does this application relate to? sets the description for the stage for the building work covered by the current application, such as "Units 1-10", "1" or some other description. Use the stage description agreed with your authority.

Design certification questions relate to national and council product assurance and certification schemes, such as the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment's (MBIE) MultiProof, CodeMark and BuiltReady schemes.
Are you using a multiple use approval standardised design? relates to designs pre-approved by MBIE or your council as complying with the NZ Building Code. Select Yes to provide details of the design.
Which standardised design scheme are you using? sets whether you are using design approved under the MBIE MultiProof scheme, your council's multiple use approval scheme or that has a DINEX / CodeMark certification.
Multiple use approval number is the approval or certificate number unique to the design you are using. This field is available only for National or Council multiple use approval schemes.
Does the design include modular components from a BuiltReady manufacturer? relates to MBIE's BuiltReady offsite manufacturer certification scheme. The first certified manufacturers are expected in 2023.
